How quickly can I go live?

What content sources can Illumea learn from?

Any combination of: your website (auto-crawled), PDFs, Confluence spaces, Jira tickets, Zendesk help articles, Google Drive documents, Notion databases, and Salesforce Knowledge.

How accurate are the answers — does it hallucinate?

Illumea uses retrieval-augmented generation (RAG): it searches your indexed content first and only answers from what it finds. It never draws on the open web. Every answer cites the source chunks it used.

What happens when the bot doesn't know something?

The bot says so clearly — no guessing. It then offers the user an option to escalate to a human agent via email or WhatsApp, including the full conversation context.

Is my data secure?

Your content is stored in a dedicated vector database scoped exclusively to your account — never mixed with other customers' data and never used to train any shared model. A DPA is available on request.

Is Illumea SOC 2 compliant?

We are not SOC 2 certified yet, but our architecture follows SOC 2-aligned practices — isolated per-customer storage, encryption in transit, role-based access control, and a DPA available on request. We're on a path to formal certification as we scale.

Are LLM token costs included?

The plan price covers the platform. LLM inference costs are passed through at cost with zero markup. For typical Starter-plan usage this adds roughly ₹1,000–₹2,500 per month.
