Illumea v3.0.0 features Voice AI support
Work on adding Voice AI support started almost month back as we experimented with various Voice AI platforms. After a few tests, we were pretty happy with the spacexai/grok-voice-think-fast-2.0 available on Vercel's AI Gateway (which we already use). Alongwith improved transcription accuracy and conversational capabilities, it is also cost effective compared to other models. Currently in beta, we have done a "bare bones integration" and as we receive feedback, we will continue to evolve this feature in the coming days.
UI updates
Analytics page
The Analytics page had evolved into a long, scrolling experience that contained all the right data but lacked a clear narrative or sense of progression. While the information was comprehensive, customers had to work harder to understand what mattered and how the different metrics connected. The redesign focused on creating a more intentional flow of information, guiding users from a high-level view of performance into deeper insights and actionable details. We cleaned up and rearranged the existing UI, refined several components, and restructured the page into distinct sections with a clearer hierarchy. The goal was not to add more data, but to make the existing data easier to scan, understand, and act upon.
Support for colour modes
The Illumea command center page now supports system, dark and light colour themes. "System" automatically follows your device’s light or dark mode preference, keeping the experience consistent with your system settings. "Light" provides a clean, bright interface suited to well-lit environments, while "Dark" uses a darker interface that can be more comfortable in low-light conditions. You can switch between modes anytime to suit your preference.
Enhanced spam filtering
Based on our conversation data analysis and tests, we refined the existing spam and irrelevant input filtering to make it more accurate and reliable in identifying low-quality interactions. The improved logic better separates genuine visitor intent from random, repetitive, or unrelated inputs, helping reduce noise across conversations and analytics. This ensures that the data feeding into insights is cleaner and more representative of actual visitor engagement.
Other fixes and updates
What would be a release without the standard "Other improvements and fixes"? Well, we have a few of those and a few security audit fixes as well that we do in regular cycles.
